Group Blog

 I am so excited to have finalized my group for the final task assignment. After reaching out to some of my classmates via text I have decided to work in a group of 4. I will be working with Chloe Stein, Tess Pancera, and Blake Booysen. In the past I have worked with Tess and Chloe on other group projects in different classes. This is not the case with Blake. I was introduced to him by Chloe, who is friends with him. She assured me and Tess that Blake is very trustworthy and a hard worker. Another plus is that we all live within 10 minutes of each other. This will make meeting up for filming very easy. We exchanged phone numbers through Chloe and created a group text message. We named it AICE Media Project. Blake mentioned in the group chat that he has a drone and has good video/photography equipment. Chloe has the newest version of a gopro, and both Blake and Chloe have editing software. Welcome Back Blog

Hello, my name is Hillery Brinkworth and I am a 12th grader. I have switched over my blogging from word press and will now be using blogger full time. After a little break, I am back and very excited to be taking A level media studies. Although different than AS level, the continued curriculum of film and the power of media is very interesting to me. I decided to take this class because of how much I enjoyed the topics and how much useful information I learned about film in AS level.  I am really hoping to pass with a C or higher this year. A level is much more rigorous that AS level which makes me a little nervous.  I know that with the help of my teachers I will succeed in this course.  In addition to my nervousness about the course work, the unknowns created by the current pandemic could possibly pose some problems during the year.
