Decision on Filming
We have started our marketing
campaign and figured out the music and technology needed to produce the film.
Everything is continuing to improve when it comes to the professionalism of the
sites. In addition, we have 14 followers on Instagram which is a lot
considering that we have not posted anything yet. The other 3 social media sites
are also growing. The props are still on track to arrive by the end of this
week. Our script is revised and edited. Also, all our cast remains safe and
Covid-19 free. Now that the preparation is moving along, the next step is to
begin our first round of filming.
Because of COVID-19 and vacation days from school, it was
challenging to build a filming schedule. This was even more difficult because
there are 4 people in our group. Even though we had challenges, our schedule
was built and finalized a couple of weeks ago. Because of thanksgiving break we
decided that it would be best not to film. This had been previously decided in
our original schedule. My group member Blake spent the week in the Florida Keys
with his family. In addition, my group member Chloe spent her vacation with
extended family in North Carolina. Because of her travel Chloe was quarantined
multiple days before thanksgiving break began. This is completely
understandable given the fact that she would be seeing her grandparents. Given
the circumstances that 1/2 of the crew was out of town made it impossible to
film. Both group members are vital for the production and we understand that
family comes first. Because we had originally planned not to film we stuck
with that decision.
